Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer's relationship may not have worked out, but it appears that the two have no bad blood between them. In fact, Jennifer Aniston was even seen on John Mayer's recent Instagram Live.

Of course, she was not seen physically, but rather, left a comment on the singer's Instagram Live. Fox News reports the comment was done during Mayer's 'Current Mood' series on Instagram. The singer made a joke while giving tribute to Grammy-winning vocalist Bill Withers who died last week from heart complications at the age of 81. Withers was known to have written popular songs like "Lovely Day" and "Lean On Me."

Mayer was paying tribute to him while at the same time delivering a self-deprecating joke.

"Whether he was speaking to you or speaking to an interviewer 15 years ago, 14, 13 years ago, everything he said is useful. Four percent of the things that I say are useful.”

It seems that Aniston found the joke funny and left three crying-laughing emojis during the Instagram Live. A fan was able to capture a screenshot of the moment.

The two did not date very long, only a few months in 2008 before they broke up. They got back together only a year later but split shortly after for good. But, despite that, the two still have nice things to say about each other. Mayer even recalled that breaking up with Aniston was something he never got over and was something he considered was one of the worst times in his life.

But all's well that ends well between the two. According to People, Mayer was even in attendance during Jen's 50th birthday bash last year, proving that the two still consider each other as friends. Aside from Mayer, another ex, Brad Pitt, was also present during her birthday as everyone who went there were people that Jen loved.

Meanwhile, since the breakup, both have moved on with their lives and found success in their career. John Mayer's last album 'The Search for Everything' was released in 2017 to critical acclaim. Most recently, he has released a song 'You Are Still You' while social distancing from others.

Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, has found success in her portrayal of Alex Levy in the drama web television series "The Morning Show." She won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her portrayal.
