Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may never be welcomed back into the royal family because of what they recently did.

The couple’s experiences as royals are detailed in the book, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.

Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said that they didn’t interview the Sussexes. And Prince Harry and Markle didn’t also ask them to write the book to debunk some of the biggest rumors surrounding them.

However, no one believes that this is really the case. Royal fans and critics alike think that Prince Harry and Markle gave the authors inside scoop into their experiences.

Some of the topics that were touched in Finding Freedom include the Sussexes’ alleged rift with the Cambridges. The authors also discussed the Sussexes’ relationship with Queen Elizabeth and the other members of the royal family.

The revelations in the book are quite shocking. And a source told Woman’s Own that it’s unlikely for the couple to be able to recover from it.

“It doesn’t seem there is any way of going back now. It’s hard to see how they can now salvage the new role they wanted as hybrid royals, running commercial careers alongside royal duties from the United States,” the source said.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express that the details revealed in Finding Freedom are unlikely to win the Sussexes public favor and sympathy.

“To be sure, the portrait it paints is that of a monarchy staffed by courtiers who are compared to ‘vipers.’ Meghan and Harry are shocked by online attacks on them and deeply resent press intrusion into their lives which, regrettably, the royal goldfish bowl involves. Their marriage gave the monarchy an enormous boost, the idea that their popularity was so great they were feared and were subsequently held back so as not to eclipse other royals seems to me absolutely extraordinary, if true,” he said.

Fitzwilliams also slammed Markle’s claim that she gave up her entire life for the royal family. After all, she was only a royal for two years before she decided to quit her duties.

“Their idea of stepping back and doing some royal duties whilst being financially independent was never practical as there would have been constant debate over which of their commercial endeavors were appropriate. They have begun legal action in Los Angeles against the paparazzi who have used drones. This is atrocious, but will obviously give rise to comment that they were much safer in Britain,” he said.
