The new normal forcedly imposed by the COVID-19 global pandemic has made Creamfields hold their annual dance event online. The electronic dance music festival will take place on its initial dates on August 28 – 30.

As per Dancing Astronaut, the virtual event will give prominence performances from over 40 artists that graced the massive stage of the event over the years. The event will also highlight “never-before-seen” headlining accomplishments, fresh from the Creamfields’ vast archives.

The forthcoming massive virtual event was firmly decided by the distinguished organizers to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Due to the festival’s nature of having a dense crowd, the organizers decided to go online but with a huge catch!

The cancellation of this year’s Creamfields shows that the organizers are plotting for a significant return next year by adding more performers to the roster. The addition names FISHER, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, MK, and Tchami.

Over the years, numerous world-renowned artists have graced the Creamfields stage like Armin van Buuren, the late Avicii, Eric Prydz, Carl Cox, to Tiesto, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Oliver Heldens, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5 and many more.

Creamfields made the announcement on their official Twitter account with a caption that starts with, “This August Bank Holiday weekend, we will be bringing Creamfields to your living room!” The message comes with the reveal with the dance festival’s colorful logo and writings inputted in the image that reads, “HOUSE PARTY.”

Meanwhile, further details about the forthcoming Creamfields virtual event will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
