The rumor mill has been churning out speculations about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt getting back together for quite some time now. Aniston and Pitt decided to part ways more than a decade ago; however, their optimistic fans continue believing they would get back together.

It is hardly surprising that rumors about them not only getting back together but also planning to get married again are doing the rounds online. We advise our readers to take these rumors with a huge grain of salt.

They were caught on camera making a pleasant reunion at the Screen Actors Guild Awards that took place on Jan. 19 this year; however, a source says they aren't getting back as they both have moved on. Reports claimed the friendly reunion could be due to Pitt asking for an apology to Aniston.

Brad is relatively sober at the moment as compared to what he was when they were together, an insider told Entertainment Tonight. The source deems Brad as an "introspective guy" who has worked hard to improve himself, and that even explains why he apologized to his ex-wife for things he thought were his problems in their relationship.

Moreover, Ad Astra star takes ownership of his mistakes and that has radically overhauled their relationship with each other now. "They both have moved on,” the source added.

Another insider told ET that the duo's relationship has surpassed the first level, reaching the next level of maturity as both Brad, as well as Aniston, have gone through divorces following their split. Pitt and Angelina Jolie divorced in Sep. 2016, while Aniston and Justin Theroux filed for divorce in 2018.

The second source suggests they just love and adore each other. They have also been closer friends after their divorce. As they have individually experienced marriages that didn't work out, Brad and Aniston now share a very mature relationship that has stood the test of time. Brad has grown remarkably following his divorce with Jen.

Reports suggesting Pitt and Aniston almost reconciled surfaced online back in 2005. Even Brad's grandmother Betty Russell believed the former couple would get back together, but much to her chagrin that didn't happen. According to Russell, both Pitt and Aniston's split was temporary as they were both precious and had a lot of love to give.

In his interview with Parade, Pitt opened up about his marriage with Aniston saying "a family is a risky venture" because the more you love, the greater is the pain you experience. While that's the trade-off, Brad said he will take it all.
