Queen Elizabeth and the royal family reportedly snubbed Meghan Markle on her birthday.

On Tuesday, the queen and the royal family didn’t ring the bells at Westminster Abbey to commemorate Markle’s special day.

A few weeks ago, Daily Mail’s Richard Eden said that it’s unlikely for the bells to ring on Markle’s birthday, and he was right.

Eden also said that the bells will be ringing on Princess Anne’s birthday this month. And the bells will also ring to commemorate Kate Middleton’s birthday.

However, Eden’s predictions have yet to come true because Princess Anne and Middleton’s birthdays have not yet taken place.

Even though the queen didn’t publicly pay tribute to Markle on her birthday, Prince William and Middleton didn’t forget about the Duchess of Sussex on her big day.

On their official Instagram account, the Cambridges posted an adorable photo of Markle chatting with a young girl.

“Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Sussex today,” the royal couple captioned the snap.

The greeting came in the heels of reports that Prince William and Prince Harry are still at odds with each other.

In the book Finding Freedom, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand also talked about the rumors that Prince William dislikes Markle for Prince Harry.

Prince William and Middleton were praised by their supporters for greeting Markle on her birthday via their social media account.

“That’s kind of you. Lovely Cambridge team,” one royal fan said.

“The Cambridges, classy as always,” another royal fan said.

“You guys are being the bigger people,” one person commented.

“C+W, you are a class act,” another person wrote.

However, some critics didn’t like how Prince William and Middleton greeted Markle publicly when she’s no longer working for the royal family.

“Unnecessary post, tbh,” one person wrote.

“Jeez, she is a private citizen. Go wish her in private in-person please,” another person wrote.

Some people also slammed Markle and Prince Harry even though it’s the former’s birthday.

One royal fan said that the Sussexes never posted a photo of the Duchess of Cambridge on their previous Instagram account.

“You can see this woman here but you can never see Kate on their own page,” the person wrote.

“Meghan, I don’t like you, I just don’t,” another person wrote.

Markle celebrated her 39th birthday at home in Beverly Hills with Prince Harry and their son, Archie.
