Guillermo Diaz is popular for his portrayal in Scandal as Huck and Weeds as Guillermo. However, the actor ready to flex United We Fall for ABC network. Diaz's hardcore fans will spare a thought for his portrayal in Half Baked comedy, which was led by Dave Chappelle.

Diaz's character Scarface's comedy timing in the movie was highly appreciated. This stoner comedy showcase Scarface with a Rottweiler called Killer and they get into an airplane being high. In fact, the 45-year-old actor made various appearances on Chappelle's Show series, which was a huge success.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Diaz spoke about his comeback with United We Fall, which is a comedy sitcom. The series released its first episode on July 15 that revolved around interracial couple Bill Ryan portrayed by Will Sasso and Jo Rodriguez portrayed by Christina Vidal Mitchell.

In the sitcom, the pair face various challenges that whirl around their two daughters and how to raise them. Interestingly, the sitcom has wacky family members to ensure the dose of comedy meets the expectations.

One of the family members is Diaz who portrayed Chuy Rodriguez's character. Diaz is Mitchell's brother who is married with three kids. It is funny how the character believes that he knows everything about life.

While Diaz has played various characters in his acting career, the actor is known for his dramatic role. The actor admitted that he doesn’t have to power and luxury to select the kind of characters he did like to portray.

However, United We Fall was just another project that Diaz auditioned for as it was different from Scandal. The actor explained that the different range of characters excites him to sign the project.

“To be honest, I turned down the audition at first because I saw that it was going to be filmed in front of a live audience. I don't know what I was going through in my life at that moment but the thought of performing in front of a studio audience each week,” the actor said.

Diaz revealed that initially, he passed the role after discussing with his manager but later when the creators connected with him again, he decided to go ahead with the project. The actor explained after reading the script twice, he became infatuated with the character. Diaz admitted being thankful that he didn't turn down the role again.
