Just when her fans thought their idol is not making a scene in the music entertainment while quarantine season is still on, the 18-year-old American singer, Billie Eilish, released her brand-new track called 'my future' on July 30 (Thursday).

In a Hollywood Life report, the fans were extremely stunned by Eilish's track release. It sings in an elegant and beautiful "positive dance tune" where Eilish tags along in the song's message about love herself and the person she is becoming.

Alongside the track's release, the Grammy Awards winner also dropped 'my future's' animated music video styled in an anime setup. The cartooned music video stars the singer herself that is inspired by her iconic green hairstreak. The newest music video of Eilish tells her journey to the future as she unveils what does tomorrow holds for her. Aside from the music video, Eilish is also being praised by many for still coming up with the best craft by releasing an animated one: far from the threat of COVID-19.

Per NME, referencing to Eilish's statement to Apple Music, 'my future' is a song about her "personal growth" and being content. She explains that growth is just growth that allows you to have someone else as a companion. She then further explained that she is not pertaining to romantic relationships but life in general.

"I'm talking about everything," she said.

Following 'my future's' track and music video releases, Eilish wrote an e-mail to her beloved fans to shed the light of the track's true meaning. "We wrote this at the very beginning of quarantine. It's a song that's really, really personal and special to me," she started off writing. Eilish then added that during the song's composition, the thing in her head was the feeling of being hopeful, crazy, and excited about growth and "self-reflection."

Furthermore, the song also sings of the world's current state, where one can identify by digging deeper into the track's words.

Since COVID-19 started in the U.S., Eilish has been very vocal towards fighting in helping not to spread the virus. Her stand also made the singer fearlessly use her platform to participate in the Black Lives Matter protest by calling out the New York Police Department's office after the respective police officers affirmed that they were being denigrated.

She also pinned out POTUS Donald Trump as her response to George Floyd's death. The matter led the singer to voice her feelings when Trump called the protesters as "thugs."
