50 Cent took to his Instagram account on Monday to post a public apology for poking fun at Megan Thee Stallion, who was shot in both feet earlier this month. The Make It Hot singer made an appearance on Instagram Live to update her followers about her health.

Megan had to undergo surgery following an incident wherein she was shot in her feet. The same incident saw rapper Tory Lanez getting arrested on felony charges. 50 Cent reposted a section of the video, showing Megan venting her frustration on people for misrepresenting the altercation, and apologized for sharing a couple of memes that painted the event in question in a bad light.

He admitted that he initially thought the event wasn't even real because it seemed so illusory. The rapper said he is glad Megan is feeling better, adding that he hopes the singer would accept his apology, noting that he shared a meme that was floating around the internet, without knowing she was really hurt.

50 Cent's apology comes after Meghan blasted at Draya Michele for making a joke about what she thought went down between her and Lanez, ET reported. Making her appearance on Steelo Brim's Wine and Weed podcast, the former Basketball Wives LA star said she thinks they had a Bobby and Whitney love which encouraged them to take this type of road.

Michele joked she wants him to like her so much that he shoots her in the foot too. Details about the gun-related event are still few and far between, Megan says she was shot multiple times in the foot, previously claiming in a tweet that the incident left her traumatized and hurt.

Meghan responded to Michele's comments via a couple of fiery tweets, blasting at her saying no one would lie about getting shot. Without naming names, she blasted at everyone making jokes about the incident, adding that she will talk about it when she is ready.

Police, on the other hand, claims that officers were responding to a report of gunfire, adding that a woman was being treated for foot injuries. Following Stallion’s subsequent remarks, the police say detectives were investigating.

According to Pete, the rapper was lucky that the bullets did not break any tendons or hit any bones, thanking her late parents and grandmother. Megan has seen a noteworthy rise on the pop and rap music scene lately, and topped the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart this year with her hit remix of Savage, along with Beyonce.
