The podcast is written by Jimmy Jellinek and hosted by The Day After Tomorrow actor on this new podcast that started on July 14. Quaid is often accompanied by his miniature bulldog named Peaches. The actor in a recent interview with EW amid lockdown elaborated about the podcast.

Quaid revealed that the podcast is made under his own production company named Audio Up. The actor is co-founder of the company that he started with Jared Gutstadt. It's been two years that the company is producing great material.

Even before, the company released a musical podcast. It became the first podcast that delivered a track Bear and a Banjo along with Bob Dylan and Bone Burnett. The podcast earned the second position in 2019. Soon, the actor started his own production and collaborated with artists from all genres.

Quaid shared the idea of creating YouTube but in an audio version. The actor explained that he chose to do a pet podcast because he is a big-time animal lover. In fact, the actor had been involved in many films that consist of animals.

“Jimmy [Jellinek], he does a really good job with it. We just wanted to offer a place to go for pets, from advice to stories to veterinary things. It's just a place for people to go, and its entertainment at the same time,” Quaid added.

During the interview, the actor confirmed that currently, he owns only one pet. He explained that having one is easier while traveling for work. Quaid said jokingly that Peaches is not clear with the concept of the podcast yet, however, she loves to watch television.

According to Quaid, pets are aware of more stuff than their owners think. In fact, their emotions are connected to us and no matter what, they are the only living creatures around that don't judge.
