In what some people fear is a very public mental breakdown, Kanye West has gone on a rant on his Twitter account that targetted his wife Kim Kardashian and his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, just days after his first rally for his presidential campaign.

E! Online reports that West made a number of claims about his wife and mother-in-law in a series of tweets, some of which have now been deleted. Some of the allegations West made include claims that the Kardashian family attempted to have him locked up.

The rapper also brought up his wife’s sex tape with her former boyfriend, Ray J. In the tweet, West alleges that he “risked his life” so that Kim would not need to release her sex tape to the general public.

West also said that he would also prevent Kim from photographing their daughter, seven-year-old North, for Playboy. The tweet references Kim’s time as a Playboy cover model for its December 2007 issue.

Billboard notes that despite that dig, West followed it up with a tweet that reaffirmed his love for his wife and how he wanted his family to be with him despite anything E! or NBC wants. E! is the channel that airs his wife’s long-running reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

West also brought up the Jordan Peel blockbuster Get Out, claiming that the film was about him and that his wife had tried to get him, allegedly, locked up because of his teary declaration about, allegedly, saving his daughter from being aborted.

This troubling new development is certainly an escalation of earlier reports that allege Kanye and Kim have ended up arguing more because of the quarantines brought about by the global coronavirus pandemic.

Back in May, reports alleged that Kim being left alone to take care of their four children, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint exacerbated the stress brought about by the pandemic. According to reports, this has resulted in bitter arguments between the couple.

People had initially thought the disagreement between the couple had been resolved after Kanye took their kids to Wyoming so Kim could have some alone time, but it appears that may not have fully ironed out their differences.

Kim and Kanye aren’t the only celebrity couple that has had their relationship troubles broadcast for the world to see. Just recently, August Alsina, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Will Smith had the world’s focus as Jada had to admit her “entanglement” with Alsina on an episode of her talk show, Red Table Talk.
