Reports have it that Chris Pratt and Tom Cruise have decided to act together in a new sci-fi film. Read more to know more about the story! 

All these rumors started after Pratt appreciated Pitt’s sincerity and dedication in an interview given to Associated Press in 2018. The Guardians of the Galaxy star praised the Top Gun actor as being a nice and positive human being who also works very hard. 

Pratt said although he did not meet Cruise ever, it would be a pleasure for him to work in a film with the Mission Impossible star as he has a reputation of being easy to act with. 

Meanwhile, a magazine took a cue from the Jurassic Park star’s kind words and created a story of their own. The outlet claims that these two Hollywood stars might soon team up for a film. 

A dubious insider said that Pratt’s interview paved way for a dialog between these two talented actors. The same source also claimed that Pitt and Pratt have now become inseparable friends. 

Finally, the tipster mentioned that the Top Gun star has planned for a sci-fi action film for both of them. However, the statement is not very clear. The story also uses words such as “in mind” and “maybe” meaning that they were not making strong claims to prove their point. 

It is to be noted that Chris Pratt, as well as, Tom Cruise have their hands full as they are tied up with several new projects. While Cruise could be seen in a sci-fi film called Luna Park, Pratt is engaged with a new thriller television series called The Terminal List and the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. 

In the past, the same tabloid had claimed that Cruise was in a relationship with Elizabeth Moss, a fellow Scientologist. However, Gossip Cop insists that they spoke to the actress’s representative and were told that she and Cruise were not dating. 

The same publication had also mentioned that Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s wedding was in danger. However, even this story was false as the duo got married last year.

In other news, the Government of the United Kingdom has permitted a string of TV and movie productions to be exempted from the ongoing quarantine rules so that they can resume their filming. 

The good news is that Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7 is one of those films which have been permitted to resume its shooting, Hollywood Reporter writes. The film was originally slated to hit theaters on July 23, 2021, but has now been postponed to Nov. 19, 2021. 

As of date, there is no solid evidence to confirm that Tom Cruise and Chris Pratt are planning to work in a blockbuster together.
