A year ago, an outlet insisted that Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have ended their friendship. Read on to know more about it! 

An article claimed last year that the Friends alum and the Legally Blond actress are having issues while working on The Morning Show, which is streamed on Apple TV+. An unnamed source suggested that the two actresses are not socializing at all outside their work. 

 

They were, reportedly, controlling themselves while on sets to avoid being embarrassed in front of other people. However, it seems that a spokesperson of Jen debunked the story and called it “absolutely false.”

 

Jen and Witherspoon have been pals for many decades now and continue to share a strong bond. Also, it seems that these two gorgeous actresses have not embarrassed themselves while shooting for The Morning Show. 

 

Both of them were nominated for their performances at the Golden Globe Awards. Aniston also won a Screen Actors Guild Award by defeating her co-star. She even thanked Witherspoon after accepting her award “I loved you girl.” Jen would hardly have proclaimed her love for Witherspoon on the stage if they were not good friends. 

 

In between, Variety reported that Apple TV+ has confirmed that The Morning Show will return for a second season in November 2020. Also, both the actresses will be reprising their respective roles. Had there been a fall out between Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, this could hardly be possible.

 

When Jen opened her own Instagram account, she posted a photo of fellow castmates of Friends. A few days after this post, the actress had uploaded a short video with her pal Witherspoon. 

In case there was still any suspicion left that these two friends have fallen out, Witherspoon shared a beautiful birthday wish for Jen on Twitter, which should be enough to stop such speculations.

 

There was another report a few months later that their new series got mixed critical reception. However, Gossip Cop debunked these stories and suggested that both these actresses had only pleasant things to speak about one another while they were on a press tour. 

 

There have been other incorrect reports about Witherspoon where it was mentioned that the actress was residing in “quarantine hell.” The actress though revealed that she has a lovely and easy relationship with her husband. So, contrary to what this report suggested, there seems to be no marital discord between Witherspoon and her husband. 

 

As of date, there is no solid evidence to substantiate that Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are no longer friends due to The Morning Show.
