Meghan Markle is, allegedly, laughing at Kate Middleton and Prince William’s desire to move into Buckingham Palace.

According to Woman’s Day, Queen Elizabeth may never return to London because of the coronavirus pandemic. She and Prince Philip are staying in Windsor Castle since March.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have been staying at Clarence House. And they allegedly don’t have any intention to relocate to Buckingham Palace even the heir to the throne is crowned as king.

As such, Buckingham Palace is currently empty. And next rightful residents are allegedly the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

“William and Kate are considering making Buckingham Palace their main home once William inherits the crown. Hundreds of thousands of pounds go into keeping it grand and they would hate to see that go to waste. Plus, Kate can’t help feeling like living at Kensington is starting to feel like being in a fishbowl. There’s a huge collection of nosy relatives watching their every move and she craves privacy,” the source said.

According to the insider, Prince William and Middleton are also thinking too forwardly. They allegedly want to leave Kensington Palace for their three children and their future families.

“Plus, that will free up their apartments at KP for their children to move into one day when they become independent. It’s a no-brainer really. Kate fancies herself quite the interiors expert and she can’t wait to get her hands on Buckingham,” the source said.

The insider also said that Markle has been telling her friends about Middleton’s plan and they are all laughing at the future queen consort.

“She’s laughing about it to friends. She says Buckingham is awful – draughty and gloomy. Of course, she could just be jealous. She hates that Kate will one day be in charge as queen and knows full well she won’t be welcome at either Buckingham or Kensington given the way she’s carrying on. Kate won’t stand for such nonsense,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Prince William and Middleton are not moving to Buckingham Palace. And if they are, it won’t be anytime soon.

The Cambridges are still staying at Anmer Hall with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Markle is no longer a senior working royal after her and Prince Harry’s Megxit. She’s also living away from the royal family so it’s unlikely for her to meddle in such matters.
