Gwyneth Paltrow adopted an uncommon approach to get over her divorce from former spouse Chris Martin. The 47-year-old Hollywood actress took the help of a holistic dentist to heal from her emotional trauma.

Paltrow remembers the first time she went to meet a dentist called Sherry Sami with her two kids. The actress has revealed the out of box approach taken by her after she split with the Coldplay rock band star.

The actress tied the knot with Martin in 2003 but parted ways in 2016. The ex-couple shares two children – 16-year-old Apple and 14-year-old Moses. However, they maintain an amicable relationship even after their break up.

Paltrow indicated that her dentist was her savior when she was going through a tough time. Sami had asked questions about her marriage, as well as, the emotional turmoil she was facing. She also gave her tips on how to treat her kids then.

Paltrow mentioned her dentist has specialized in orthodontics, as well as, in pediatric dentistry. The holistic dentist taught her kids and her how to “heal” after her divorce.

The Emma star recalls how her dentist counseled her when she was in emotional shock and helped them to get a more profound understanding of what holistic dentistry is all about. The dentist also explained the various elements, which can help in emotional healing.

Gwyneth Paltrow told her dentist she still remembers the first time she visited her although it was many years ago. She also remembers sitting down with her and the latter quizzing her about her marriage and emotional trauma.

Paltrow was going through a difficult time and Sami was a great help for her. The actress then wondered why the dentist was querying so much about her “childhood trauma” and the state of her marriage, Mirror.co.uk reports.

Meanwhile, the actress tries to be in great shape even amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. She shared with the Shape magazine the kind of exercises she currently does as she cannot go to the gym now.

Paltrow mentioned she is regular about her neck and back exercises especially because she has to attend so many Zoom calls these days. The Oscar-winning actress also revealed that she and her husband Brad Falchuk prefer walking at least three to four times every week.

Gwyneth Paltrow, still slender and in excellent shape, also said she uses her computer whenever she needs any fitness help. The actress has been into multiple online classes to keep fit and stay healthy.
