Prince Andrew allegedly earned the reputation of a brat and a bully while he was growing up.

According to New Idea, there were a lot of times when Prince Andrew pranked Queen Elizabeth. But on most occasions, the monarch forgave her favorite son.

Other than sprinkling itching powder on the queen’s bed, Prince Andrew also climbed on the roof of Buckingham Palace to turn the TV aerial so that his mom wouldn’t be able to watch the race at Sandown Park.

Following that last prank, the queen allegedly told other people that Prince Andrew isn’t also a ray of sunshine, especially at home.

As a baby, Prince Andrew’s nanny, Mabel Anderson gave him the nickname “Baby Grumpling” because of his temper and tantrums. When he got a bit older, his nickname became “that young imp” because he was always getting up the mischief.

There were times when he would remove the valves from his nanny’s radio or he would tie her shoelaces together. Prince Andrew also allegedly grew up having seven nurseries in four palaces, endless treats, and more of his mother’s attention, unlike Prince Charles and Princess Anne.

While studying at the Heatherdown, Prince Andrew’s classmates called him a natural boss because he was allegedly a bully. He later moved to Gordonstoun, where he failed to excel in both sports and academics.

While studying at Gordonstoun, the Duke of York’s classmates described him as boastful and big-headed. They also gave him the nickname “The Sniggerer” because he kept telling jokes and laughing hard that no one understands what the punch line is.

During his interview with New Idea, former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe called out Prince Andrew for his lack of manners.

“I’ve seen him treat his staff in a shocking, appalling way. He’s been incredibly rude to his personal protection officers, literally throwing things on the ground and demanding they [expletive] pick them up. No social graces at all. Sure, if you’re a lady with blonde hair and big breasts then I bet he’s utterly charming,” Wharfe said.

In recent months, Prince Andrew is embroiled in a controversy after he was accused of sexually abusing young girls at Jeffrey Epstein’s home.

However, the Duke of York’s reps denied the claims. They also said that Prince Andrew has been offering to help the US Department of Justice (DOJ) three times, but they refused him twice.
