In their first public outing since King Charles's coronation, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen enjoying a sushi dinner at Montecito Inn's Sushi Bar. But the Sussexes were not alone; they were joined by a star-studded group that included Hollywood A-listers and leading business figures.

Page Six reports that Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Brad Falchuk, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, along with Bumble CEO Whitney Wolf Herd and her husband Michael Herd, were all present at the gathering. These couples, all residing in the Montecito vicinity, form a significant part of the Sussexes' local social circle. The Herds, the most recent additions to the community, moved into the Montecito home formerly owned by Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.

The dinner gathering also held a hint of irony; Prince Harry, in his memoir, "Spare," had dismissed rumors of a past relationship with Cameron Diaz. He wrote, "Books about me dived into my love life... I seem to recall one detailing my flirtation with Cameron Diaz... Indeed I couldn’t, since we’d never met. I was never within fifty meters of Ms. Diaz."

The Duchess of Sussex, always a picture of elegance, donned a brown Heidi Merrick dress complemented by Hermès Oran sandals for the dinner. Gold hoop earrings and a pair of sunglasses completed her ensemble. Prince Harry opted for a more relaxed look, sporting a black t-shirt paired with white trousers.

Meghan's handbag of choice was a noteworthy addition to her outfit. She carried an off-white Bucket Bag by Cesta Collective, a brand that commissions female artisans in Rwanda, Africa, to hand-weave their products. Notably, Paltrow herself has previously carried a Cesta Collective bag, the "Lunchpail" design. The brand, dedicated to a socially conscious mission, has found favor among celebrities like Kristen Bell and Claire Foy.

The sushi dinner marks the start of an important week for Meghan, who is set to be honored by Gloria Steinem at the Ms. Foundation's 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City.
