In a once-in-a-generation event, King Charles III was crowned on Saturday. However, the historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey was not without its share of family drama.

The coronation marked the first occasion Prince Harry, 38, encountered his father, 74, and estranged brother Prince William, along with his family, since the release of his controversial memoir, “Spare.” Prince Harry was seated in the third row, a notable demotion from the front-row seats reserved for full-time working royals.

Prince Andrew, 63, who has been linked to the late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, faced loud jeers as he made his way to the service. Neither Harry nor Andrew participated in any official capacity during the coronation or subsequent procession, and they did not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

While Andrew was allowed to wear his formal garter robes, Prince Harry arrived at the Abbey in civilian attire. His wife, Meghan Markle, remained in California with their children, Archie and Lilibet Diana.

Many observers criticized King Charles III for permitting his wayward son to attend the momentous event. Jaquie Cullen of Liverpool told The Post, "Harry should not be here. He's been very disloyal to the royal family."

Others expressed more leniency towards Prince Andrew, despite the sex abuse lawsuit involving Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Jaquie Cullen argued, "Harry scarred the British spirit more than Andrew."

King Charles III was robed in golden garments and seated in the 700-year-old Coronation Chair. He received symbolic objects representing his mercy, justice, and power before the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, placed the St. Edward's Crown upon his head.

Prince William knelt before his father, swearing his loyalty as the heir to the throne. Camilla, now referred to as "The Queen" on the Royal Family's website, was anointed with holy oil and received Queen Mary's Crown.

The coronation took place eight months after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, marking the end of her 70-year reign.
