Celebrities continue to come up with ways to help out in the coronavirus pandemic. A benefit concert will be held on Mar. 29 on FOX31 at 7 p.m. This concert, which will run commercial-free for one hour will not only pay tribute to all the frontliners but all the heroes battling the virus.

EW reports that superstar Elton John will be the host of the all-star benefit concert airing on Sunday night. There is still no final list of all the articles that would participate. But, some of the reported featured performances, including superstars Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, and Tim McGraw. Backstreet Boys will also participate in the event.

Elton just celebrated his 73rd birthday at home. The singer-composer, known for his hits Candle in the Wind and Can You Feel the Love Tonight, posted on social media that he was celebrating at home with his sons Elijah and Zachary, aged 7 and 9. The two were signing their dad a happy birthday along with some cake. He and his partner David Furnish had their sons through a surrogate pregnancy.

The concert that Elton John would be hosting is aptly titled Living Room Concert for America and it will be replacing what was supposed to be the iHeartRadio Music Awards. All the singers will be taking part in their own homes, singing in their own living room as mass gatherings are discouraged all over the world where the coronavirus pandemic is being felt. This way, everyone will stay safe but still enjoy the hour-long concert. Many people can still enjoy good music while social distancing.

The concert aims to encourage support for organizations such as the First Responders Children's Foundation and Feeding America.

Elton and company are just some of the many celebrities that are stepping up to help while the world is suffering through the pandemic. Many musicians and singers have already done live streams of themselves performing to cheer up their millions of fans.

Artists like Shawn Mendez, James Taylor, and Rihanna have donated to different organizations to help fight the virus. Still others, like Kristen Bell and husband, have tried to ease the burden of their tenants by waiving the rent while this crisis is ongoing.

We can expect that more and more celebrities will do their own little ways to help during this time. With the numbers of cases continuing to rise up, many states have begun to lockdown in a bid to flatten the curve.
