Priscilla Presley, ex-wife of the late rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley, is reportedly facing financial difficulties after an updated trust cut her significant income from Elvis' $500 million estate. Insiders claim the 77-year-old has been compelled to attend fan conventions to make ends meet.

The usually private Priscilla will be headlining the Chiller Theater convention in New Jersey on April 28, alongside the Beach Boys' Mike Love and Sopranos actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler. It is believed she could earn up to $150,000 from autograph signings and photo opportunities at the event, helping her recover from the loss of her $900,000 yearly salary as a trustee of Elvis' estate, now managed by her granddaughter Riley Keough.

A source close to Priscilla remarked, "Priscilla has preferred to lie low in recent years, but she sees the need to get out there and earn."

Following the death of her daughter, Lisa Marie, on January 12, Priscilla filed court papers to have her living trust annulled. Lisa Marie had amended the document in 2016, removing her mother from the estate and naming her children, Riley, 33, and Benjamin Keough, 27, as the sole trustees. Benjamin tragically took his own life in 2020.

The source added that Priscilla "still hopes to have Lisa Marie's amended will overturned in court and be returned to what she believes is her rightful place as a trustee of the Elvis estate."

Insiders also suggest that Priscilla's convention appearance serves as a public relations maneuver. She recently posted a video encouraging fans to buy tickets and even blew them a kiss on camera.

The source elaborated, "This battle with other family members, especially her granddaughter Riley, has already turned ugly, and Priscilla sees she needs to be in public and elevate her persona. She wants to show the world she isn't hiding from anything."
