Prince William and his stepsister, Laura Lopes, reportedly got into fights when they were much younger.

In the book Harry and William: Behind the Palace Walls, royal author Katie Nicholl said that Prince William and Lopes used to argue nonstop at the start of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles’ relationship.

One of the things that the stepsiblings used to argue had to do with who they can blame for having broken homes.

Before Prince Charles and Camilla made their relationship official, they were married to their respective partners. Prince Charles was married to Princess Diana from 1981 to 1996. Camilla, on the other hand, was married to Andrew Parker Bowles until 1993.

Nicholl revealed that there were times when Prince Charles blamed Camilla for the hurt that she caused Princess Diana. And every time Lopes would hear this, she would become enraged. Lopes would usually tell Prince William that it was Prince Charles that ruined her life.

But over the years, Prince William and Lopes’ relationship improved. According to Nicholl, the stepsiblings’ relationship softened and they made amends. They also stopped blaming each other’s parents and they started getting along well.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry attended Lopes’ wedding in 2006. Lopes’ daughter, Eliza was one of the bridesmaids at Prince William and Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011.

Meanwhile, Prince William also made headlines this week amid claims that he requested Prince Harry to move somewhere safer.

A source told Us Weekly that Prince William is aware that moving to a different country is not easy for his brother or anyone else. During the royal siblings’ recent conversation, Prince William reportedly advised Prince Harry to return to London or relocate elsewhere.

At the end of the day, Prince William is reportedly concerned about his brother’s wellbeing and safety especially with the ongoing riots in the United States.

The insider said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were very excited to move to Los Angeles in March. However, they didn’t expect things to be chaotic in the country.

Following the lockdowns in the United States, a curfew has also been imposed due to the riots and lootings taking place everywhere.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle have not yet expressed any desire to return to London to be with the royal family. They are still residing at Tyler Perry’s $18 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
