King Charles III reportedly wants Prince Harry to attend his coronation this May.

Express UK reported that the claims were from sources who also alleged that the King will likely invite the former working royals because he thinks “it is the right thing to do.”

The insiders are said to have stated that the British Monarch is determined to have the Duke of Sussex in his coronation. It is also added that courtiers are reportedly finding ways to bring him and the Duchess of Sussex back into the fold in a “low profile” capacity for the event.

Reports said the British Royal Family, alongside royal officials, have yet to release the invitations for the King’s coronation.

But, the same sources are said to have claimed that King Charles III is likely to give Meghan Markle and Prince Harry one as it “will hopefully pave the way for peace.”

Another insider reportedly asserted that the British Monarch “is a forgiving person by nature,” adding that “he wants to move on.”

The Duke of Sussex “is still his son,” with the source adding that the King “loves” his youngest child “whatever has been said and done,” as per the outlet.

Moreover, it is alleged that the monarch “cannot imagine being crowned, the most important moment of his life, without both his sons witnessing the moment.”

While King Charles III wants Prince Harry at the historical event, Prince William is understood to be resistant to the idea, according to Vanity Fair, where the claims about the matter first surfaced.

Insiders, who are said to be close to the Prince of Wales, claimed that there is no trust left between him and the Duke of Sussex, seemingly suggesting that a reconciliation is unlikely, as per the publication.

Despite this, though, the King reportedly believes that they all have to move on as a family, adding that he sees the family must be united ahead of his coronation.

Similar claims emerged earlier this month, with The Telegraph reporting that a source said King Charles III would never let personal issues prevent him from building bridges. It is also claimed that he had insisted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to the coronation.

Elsewhere in the report, published on January 3, it is stated that the British Monarch has been “deeply saddened” over the criticisms the Sussexes made toward the royal Firm.

But, even so, the King reportedly has no desire for further acrimony, with sources noting that he would always welcome the Duke of Sussex back.
