Leonardo DiCaprio is allegedly following in Jack Nicholson’s footsteps of gaining so much weight and not taking care of himself.

According to National Enquirer, DiCaprio seems to be gaining more and more weight by the minute because he stopped working out. Nicholson, on the other hand, ballooned to over 200 pounds because he has also been eating nonstop.

“Jack really took Leo under his wing when they made The Departed in 2006. He became something of a mentor and life coach to Leo, who is in awe of Jack’s hedonistic approach to life. He sees himself very much as a modern-day successor,” the source said.

The source said that DiCaprio has not been eating healthily either. In fact, he has been enjoying carbs like starchy spaghetti and so much more.

“Even when Leo has to slim down for a movie part, he does the bare minimum of dieting and wears Spanx if needed. He’s addicted to the good life and that means food, cocktails, and lazing around with a smile on his face and a hot supermodel on his arm – just like Jack did in his heyday,” the source said.

But not because Nicholson and DiCaprio starred in the same movie years ago does it mean that the latter is trying to follow in the former’s footsteps.

It is important to note that Nicholson is already 85 years old so he cannot do strenuous exercises anymore. But this doesn’t mean that he’s not doing his part in trying to stay healthy.

DiCaprio, on the other hand, may have gained a considerable amount of weight in recent months. But it’s not a big deal because weight gain happens even to celebrities.

Of course, if DiCaprio is set to star in a movie, he will go back to the gym and be conscious of what he eats.

It’s not also true that DiCaprio ballooned almost to Nicholson’s size. This is a baseless rumor that the tabloid is spreading to attack the Titanic actor.

Even the photos that they used to compare the two A-listers together proved their claims otherwise. After all, even though DiCaprio and Nicholson’s bellies seem to have gotten bigger in recent months, the sizes are still very different.

Is it therefore best to not believe what the tabloid says about the actors.
