Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have allegedly agreed to relocate to Greece.

An unnamed source told Woman’s Day that the couple agreed to relocate after having enough of Tinseltown.

“It hasn’t been a great year for them, so Rita wants to really shake things up. She is keen to get in touch with her roots and move to Greece for a year or so, preferably near the village where her mother grew up. Rita was raised Greek Orthodox and has always had a natural pull toward her homeland,” the source said.

The source also said that the past year hasn’t been good for Hanks either.

“Tom went from being a sprightly young man to looking like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders basically overnight. If he’s having health problems, he’s not telling anyone, but it can’t be a coincidence that it’s happening at the same time as Chet causing problems,” the source said.

According to the source, Hanks and Wilson were surprised to hear Chet’s previous interview, where he seemingly lambasted his actor father. Since then, the father and son’s relationship has never been the same.

“Rita and Tom are dealing with this in different ways, and she wants to get on the same page. He can’t seem to say no to roles at the moment and she’s hoping to get him out of Hollywood so he hasn’t got scripts piling up at his door,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Hanks and Wilson are leaving Hollywood to relocate to Greece. Even though the couple might have been going through something difficult, this doesn’t mean that their problems will be resolved when they relocate to Greece.

It’s not also true that Hanks and Wilson are still reeling over Chet’s previous interview. If Chet said something that upset the couple, it’s highly likely for the trio has already discussed the matter in private.

There’s no indication that Hanks is also struggling to leave Hollywood because of his back-to-back projects. As of late, Hanks doesn’t have any plans to leave Hollywood in the first place.

It is therefore easy to notice that all the claims made by the tabloid are inaccurate.
