Amy Robach could allegedly get the boot from Good Morning America following her cheating scandal.

National Enquirer, in its Jan. 16 issue, claimed that the staff and fans of the talk show want Robach out as soon as possible.

“People want her out the door as soon as possible. She’s become the most hated woman in TV news,” the source said.

The source also claimed that after Robach’s cheating scandal made headlines, the once-popular host lost the support of her closest friends in the business.

“She’s lost most of her friends and support inside the network. She’s brought scandal to a show that prides itself as a family program – and she also infuriated Robin Roberts, who is the face of the show,” the source said.

The source added that other people who worked on Good Morning America have been avoiding Robach like the plague because they do not want to be associated with her.

Meanwhile, it’s only a matter of time before Robach loses her job because no one wants to work with her anymore.

“Who wants to hire somebody who put her show and colleagues at risk just for some reckless tryst? There is a sense of foreboding on the show. It’s like people are waiting for the next domino to fall. The tension is very thick,” the source said.

While it is true that Robach had an affair with T.J. Holmes, it’s not true that those who were once close to her have been avoiding her like the plague.

It doesn’t seem fair to put all the blame on Robach when her affair wouldn’t have happened if Holmes wasn’t also involved.

It is also important to note that Robach and Holmes were already removed from the show temporarily while investigations are taking place. So, the tabloid is not right in saying that audiences and staffers want her out.

As of late, Robins has not also involved herself in the controversy so no one knows for sure what she thinks about her colleagues’ affair.

What is only known is that Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig already filed for divorce.

“During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee's sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter. To that end, T.J.'s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible,” Fiebig’s lawyer said in a statement.
