Brendan Fraser recently shared the right way to pronounce his last name.

People said in a report, published Monday, that the revelation came during an exchange between the 54-year-old actor and his former co-star, Adam Sandler. As noted, the two celebrities reunited nearly three decades after working together on their 1994 film, “Airheads,” for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series.

During the engagement, Fraser is said to have unveiled the proper way to say his name after Sandler asked about his full name. The former corrected the latter, saying, “It’s Fraser,” and pointed out that it rhymes with the word “razor,” as per the magazine.

The “Mummy” actor is said to have continued in the exchange, “You shave with a razor,” reportedly before taking a fun dig at the “Uncut Gems” star. As stated, he told his former co-star to “try standing closer to it” as he brought attention to Adam Sandler’s growing beard.

This led the “Just Go With It” actor to respond, “I didn’t even know this happened,” pointing at his beard. He consequently quipped, “This is two days of not shaving,” causing him and Brendan Fraser to burst into laughter.

The two actors worked together on “Airheads,” a comedy film that hit the big screens in 1994. It follows the story of a band of musicians, The Lone Rangers, who hijack a radio station to get airplay for their demo recording.

Fraser played the role of Chazz, the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band, while Sandler took on Pip’s character, the drummer of their act.

Elsewhere in the “Actors on Actors” engagement, which surfaced on media platforms last week, the “With Honors” star and the “Blended” actor discussed the former’s hit 1997 comedy title, “George of the Jungle.” They talked about how Brendan Fraser looked “good” in the film because of his fit and muscular figure.

Adam Sandler recalled that his former co-star “got every jacked for ‘George of the Jungle,’” adding that it “disappointed” him “how good you looked in that,” and how Fraser was not “supposed to do that to us.”

While the “Hustle” star noted that the “Inkheart” actor “did right by the character” in “George of the Jungle,” he pointed out that the latter “did wrong by us,” stating, “You made us feel about ourselves.” He then asked, “Were you oiled up at all during ‘George’?”

Brendan Fraser initially revealed that “the wardrobe was there was no wardrobe” when he played the character, noting that “George wears a loincloth” in the movie.

The “Whale” star later shared that he was “waxed” and “starved of carbohydrates” at the time. He added that his “brain was misfiring” and recalled the time he could not even remember the PIN to his ATM.
