Popstar Billie Eilish unveils a new side of her in a short film that she recently posted on her YouTube page. 

The New York Post reports that the singer has always been know for her baggy clothes. She has already said in the past that she is not comfortable with having her body talked about. But come April she became the victim of cyberbullying after she posted some rare photos of her wearing a bikini. Netizens claimed that it was hypocritical of her to not want to be sexualized and yet have the audacity to wear something so skimpy. Eilish was frustrated as she can't seem to win. People always had an opinion about her. 

In the new short film she uploaded, entitled Not My Responsibility, Billie made sure to slam all the body shamers who loved to have an opinion on whatever she was wearing. In under four minutes, she showed herself removing layers of the baggy clothing she has always been known for. It follows her as she unzips her hoodie and heads to the dark water. 

While she does this, you can hear her voice as she speaks, uttering many haunting lines about how people's opinions about her. 

She talks about how people say that when she wears comfortable clothes, she is not labeled a woman. And yet when she wears something a little more revealing, she is then labeled a slut. 

She ends the video by asking the audience if her value as a person was based on their perception of her, or perhaps their opinion is not at all her responsibility. As of this writing, the powerful short film, which is produced by Billie herself, has garnered almost 9 million views. 

Billie Eilish began her career as an artist in 2015, rising to fame after she released her song Ocean Eyes in Soundcloud. Her album When We Fall Asleep was not just critically acclaimed but also swept the 2020 Grammy Awards. 

But fame has its price, according to the Daily Mail, as the singer that there came a time when she even hated her own body. Aside from the cyberbullying, the singer had also had to deal with real-life stalkers. Just a few weeks ago, a stalker went to her house several times. 

In a span of a week, a fan named Prenell Rousseau kept coming back to the house. Billie was very concerned that she had to file a restraining order against him.
