Kate Middleton and Queen Consort Camilla allegedly got into a fight after the queen’s funeral because the latter told the former that she was not fit to wear the crown.

Even though Middleton will be styled as queen consort one day, the title currently belongs to King Charles’ wife.

A source told Star that Queen Consort Camilla wants everyone to know that she’s the boss. But her arrogance caused Middleton to be upset with her.

“Kate is becoming increasingly irritated with her. She thinks Camilla is a good-time girl who doesn’t take her royal duties seriously and that she doesn’t deserve the role. Things have been very awkward,” the source said.

The source added that Middleton is aware that Queen Consort had Queen Elizabeth’s support and blessing before she passed away. But this doesn’t mean that the Princess of Wales needs to force herself to like and follow Queen Consort Camilla.

“She [Camilla] has this superior attitude where everyone has to bow down to her. Kate isn’t happy about it. While Kate has gone above and beyond the call of duty to adhere to all of the values required of working royals, Camilla ultimately latched onto Charles’ coattails,” the source said.

The insider added that the two female royals also got into a fight over Windsor Castle. Queen Consort Camilla allegedly expressed her desire to keep the property while also residing at Buckingham Palace. However, Middleton felt that she’s been too greedy so she exploded.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Middleton and Queen Consort Camilla are feuding over properties and crowns because they just became royals by association.

Both women do not have any right over the palaces and other royal properties because they are not royals by blood.

It doesn’t also make sense for Queen Consort Camilla and Middleton to fight over the crown because this doesn’t belong to them either.

On May 6, Queen Consort Camilla will have a ceremony after King Charles’ coronation. And when the time comes, Middleton will also have the exact same ceremony.

Since their roles are similar, their path as royals is also alike. So, there can’t be any competition between the two. If anything, it seems they support each other.
