King Charles has not burned bridges with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, contrary to what multiple sources have been saying.

This week, the monarch held his first meeting with British Prime Minister Liz Truss at Buckingham Palace.

clip from their meeting was uploaded online via Twitter and it shows Truss curtsying at King Charles.

But eagle-eyed netizens noticed the framed photos on the side table inside Buckingham Palace. One of the snaps was taken during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding in 2019.

The photo was taken by official photographer Alexi Lubomirski at Windsor Castle, and it also features other members of the royal family like Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland is also featured in the snap. She was the only member of Markle’s family that attended her royal wedding. After all, the Duchess of Sussex’s relationship with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., remains strained to this day.

King Charles’ desk also holds a framed photo of Queen Elizabeth when she was still the monarch together with her heir, King Charles, and successors, Prince William, and Prince George. The photo was released in January 2020 to mark a new era.

Following the queen’s death, King Charles gave his first address to the nation. At the time, he had a photo of his late mother on display. The snap shows the queen wearing a blue ensemble.

Throughout the years, the queen has also put on display some photos of her loved ones every time she would give an official address. Months after Prince Philip died, she displayed a photo of her husband during her Christmas Day speech.

Meanwhile, King Charles's recent gesture is seen as another olive branch that he is extending to Prince Harry and Markle. Even though their relationship continues to be strained, King Charles has been exerting efforts to let the couple knows that they are loved and missed.

He gave the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a special shoutout during his first address to the nation. He sent them his love all the way in the United States where the couple decided to start a new life.

There are also whispers that King Charles could extend more olive branches to Prince Harry and Markle. And the last one could be by giving Archie and Lilibet royal titles.
