Christina Aguilera is allegedly disgusted with Britney Spears and has no plans to be friends with her again.

After Spears made some stark comments about Aguilera’s weight and body, the latter immediately unfollowed Spears former on social media.

She later agreed to make amends with Spears, but this doesn’t mean that the two artists can still be friends.

“She was absolutely disgusted and immediately unfollowed Britney. Christina already made an effort to make amends with Britney and won’t tolerate her or her team being slammed on social media,” the source told Life & Style. 

Spears also apologized for the things that she said on social media. She explained that it wasn’t her intention to body-shame anyone because she knows what it feels like to be ridiculed because of her weight and size.

However, some of her fans are not convinced by Spears’ excuse. After all, her comment clearly showed that she was criticizing Aguilera and backup dancers.

Now, the source is claiming that Spears made the rude comments because she’s jealous of Aguilera. After all, the latter’s going to be honored at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Sept. 29 and she’s not.

“She flew into a jealous rage. Britney secretly thinks it’s a low blow for her old rival to steal the spotlight so soon, but the awards were organized months ago. Christina is sick of the drama,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Even though it’s true that Spears and Aguilera are at odds with each other, there’s no indication that the “Tiny Dancer” singer commented on Aguilera’s body out of jealousy.

Of course, Spears knows that Aguilera isn’t to blame if she’s going to receive recognition at the Billboard Latin Music Awards next week. And it’s unlikely for her to pin this on her fellow artist.

This proves that the tabloid is just making the ongoing feud between Spears and Aguilera much worse. They are making it seem as though the issue is personal even when it’s not.

As of late, it’s also unclear if Spears and Aguilera will ever become friends again because only time will tell. For now, Aguilera has not followed Spears on social media again. And they are not also on speaking terms right now.
