President Trump is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to demean his Democrat rival, Joe Biden. Keeping in line with that, he recently retweeted a tweet from Fox News political analyst Brit Hume, hinting at the reason why he doesn't like to wear a mask.

It is no secret that Donald Trump is resorting to using Twitter when it comes to venting out his frustration or taking a jab at his opponents. The president has retweeted a post that pokes fun at Joe Biden for donning a mask at Memorial Day commemorations, while he refrained from wearing one during a recently-concluded ceremony in Virginia.

On May 25, Trump slammed his Democrat rival Biden by retweeting a post shared by Fox News' Brit Hume. The tweet was accompanied by a picture of Biden wearing a black-tinted mask and a caption that linked the photo with Trump preferring not to wear masks even in public. In the close-up shot, the former vice president is spotted sporting sunglasses and a dark face mask.

Biden was accompanied by his wife Jill during the wreath-laying ceremony at a veterans park in Delaware. This was their first trip out of their home in over two months. Trump and First Lady Melania, on the other hand, refrained from covering their faces with masks when the attended ceremonies in Maryland and Virginia.

It was hardly surprising that Trump came immediately under fire from the Twitterverse for deciding against wearing a face mask at services that honor veterans' lives, completely ignoring the CDC (Centers for Disease and Prevention) guidance for wearing masks in public places where social distancing is not possible. A Twitterati accused the president not wearing a mask because he thinks it is embarrassing to wear one.

Another Twitter user wrote Trump is unwilling to lead America by example, attributing the president's decision to not wear a mask to his narcissistic vanity, coupled with denial of science. The Twitter user described these as the worst qualities in leadership, while others saw Biden wearing a mask as the Democrat showing that he cares for American people, Daily Mail reported.

A Twitterati compared pictures of Biden and Trump, saying that the former vice president's picture shows courage, respect and indicates he cares for the people of America, but more importantly, it shows he doesn't want to get coronavirus. Biden is in the vulnerable category, the Twitter user explained, while another user wrote that Biden simply got more class.
