Prince George is reportedly not allowed to return to Thomas’s Battersea in September, but Princess Charlotte is.

According to the guidelines released by the United Kingdom government, students who are in reception, year 1, and year 6 are the only ones that could return to school months later.

Prince George, 6, will be in grade 2 in the coming school year. This means that he’s advised to stay at home until the coronavirus pandemic is over.

Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, will be in grade 1 and she may return to school. But according to Sunday Times, Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t want their kids to be separated so they might also ask Princess Charlotte to continue her studies at home.

Meanwhile, Thomas’s Battersea previously released a statement explaining how education will continue online during the pandemic.

The spokesperson said that they asked the parents to keep their children at home and access their lessons through this system. This way, the students will have continuity of learning even when they aren’t in school.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been spending a lot of time together while they are on lockdown at Anmer Hall. According to sources, the royal siblings have been gardening and playing tennis.

They have also been building tents and they are also helping their mom in the kitchen. But their top priority is still their education. Middleton and Prince William are hands-on when it comes to teaching their kids.

In March, a source told Closer Weekly that Prince George and Princess Charlotte aren’t allowed to use iPads, computers, and other electronics. Their TV time is also limited so that they can focus on their assignments.

Last month, Middleton revealed that she didn’t want her kids’ studies to be disrupted. As such, she didn’t tell them that it was Easter weekend. The Duchess of Cambridge admitted that she felt very mean after doing what she did.

As of late, it is still unclear when Prince Louis will start schooling. But Princess Charlotte was 2 years old when she went to Willocks Nursery School. The school is located in central London and is also in close proximity to Kensington Palace.

Prince George, on the other hand, went to Westacre Montessori in Norfolk, which is close to Anmer Hall. Prince William and Middleton decided to stay in London after Prince George enrolled at Thomas’s Battersea years ago.
