A couple of months after the infamous "Megxit" Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, has gotten an offer to work for The Simpsons.

Page Six reports that the producers of the long-running show want them to voice a cartoon character of themselves. In an interview with Radio Times, executive producer Al Jean says that they are very willing to get the former royals to do a special cameo on their show. He expresses that Meghan should give him a call.

It was in January when the couple revealed that they were taking a step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family. They are now dividing their time between the UK and Canada. The Duchess of Sussex was reported to have been offered a voiceover deal with Disney to benefit the charity Elephants Without Borders. However, there has been no official announcement of that.

While some say that she already recorded the voiceover before their holiday break in Canada last December, fans are still waiting for the truth to this rumor.

Recently, a video has been revealed of Prince Harry talking to Bob Iger about how his wife can do voiceovers. Bob Iger was then the CEO of Walt Disney, only stepping down February of this year. This "sales pitch" was done during the premiere of Disney's Lion King.

Meanwhile, it seems Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to build a new home. Daily Mail reports that the couple, who have become parents to Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, was inspired by celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham to establish a home at the Soho Farmhouse.

This is understandable as the place is important to the couple, having spent some romantic getaways there. The cost of the house might be up to 3 million. Along with their stepping back from their duties, the couple has also decided to become financially independent from the royal family.

With the news of Prince Charles contracting the coronavirus, it remains to be unknown how this would impact the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex included. While Prince Charles is the first from the British royal family to have tested positive for the virus, another royal, Prince Albert of Monaco, was confirmed to have the virus just last week.

The most recent numbers of positive cases in the UK has already reached more than 8,000, with 422 patients dying from complication brought about by Covid-19.
