If reports doing the rounds online are anything to go by, Ray Porter made a brief appearance as Darkseid in Justice League's Snyder Cut, but to make sure the focus doesn't deviate from Steppenwolf, the footage was deleted from the theatrical version.

Ray Porter has confessed that he will be spotted in the impending Snyder Cut of Justice League as one of DC's most dreaded supervillains Darkseid. WarnerMedia announced that the hotly-anticipated Snyder Cut would be coming to HBO Max in 2021.

The Argo actor took to his Twitter handle to announce that he has been permitted to reveal that he played Darkseid in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Much to the delight of comic book movie fans. director Zack Snyder has finally confirmed that the Justice League Snyder cut will be released next year on HBO Max.

Regrettably, details about its release date are still few and far between. The world is now waiting with bated breath to see the next footage the film will include. Warner Bros. continues to keep important details about the Justice League Snyder cut under wraps, but Showbiz CheatSheet suggests we are likely to witness a few cast shake-ups.

Keeping in line with that, Porter is the latest entrant who not only is associated with the project as an actor but is also a casting agent. Amid fans going berserk over an imminent Justice League Snyder cut release, Porter built more hype around the movie by teasing his role.

As soon as the Justice League Snyder cut was announced, fans began hazarding all sorts of guesses and coming up with multiple theories about the movie. In 2017, the theatrical cut failed to live up to the expectations of moviegoers, but Snyder’s vision is not only expected to meet but surpass their expectations.

Snyder's vision for Justice League and its imminent sequels was considerably long-term. It remains to be seen whether or not he takes on more DC movies, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Justice League’s Snyder cut will not follow in the footsteps of its previous storyline and adopt a completely newfangled plot.

Warner Bros. is willing to shell out up to a whopping $30 million to complete the post-production work. Surprisingly, the plan doesn't seem to focus on reuniting earlier cast members for reshoots, The Wraps pointed out. In other words, Snyder must have what he needs to bring his vision to fruition, but since nothing is set in stone yet, it is hard to predict how the movie will turn out.

Nevertheless, fans are rest assured the film will be different in terms of its villain. Ciaran Hinds portrayed Steppenwolf in the Justice League theatrical cut, but his character is nothing more than a lieutenant to the supervillain Darkseid. While the baddie wasn't included in the theatrical cut, Snyder was bent on making his debut in the film. Porter had even completed shooting as Darkseid.
