Prince Harry’s memoir has no official release date until today and there is allegedly a reason why this may be the case.

A source told National Enquirer that Prince Harry’s publishers gently rejected his manuscript several times because they just couldn’t get what they were looking for from the Duke of Sussex.

The insider insisted that it’s not uncommon for publishers to reject versions of a manuscript if they are not happy with what they are reading. But the fact that Prince Harry’s memoir was rejected several times is already a cause for alarm.

“It is not unusual for the content of books to develop and change throughout the creative process. Great publishers work with their authors rather than just simply printing whatever they write,” the source defended the publisher’s decision.

According to the source, Prince Harry was forced to include bombshells in his memoir because that’s the only way for the project to push through. One of the bombshells includes the name of the person that he and Meghan Markle accused of being racist.

However, making this shocking revelation in his book was a tad bit difficult for the Duke of Sussex. After all, he’s not used to blabbing about his issues to the world because all his life he was told that he cannot talk about his feelings in public.

“His whole life he grew up being told to shut up and carry on. He’s been taught to keep his feelings hidden deep inside. Now, he is being paid to literally cry out loud. As angry as he is with his family, this hasn’t been easy for him to do,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Prince Harry’s manuscript was rejected a couple of times. In fact, recent reports confirmed that he already submitted the final copy of his memoir to his lawyers.

It’s not also true that Prince Harry’s memoir will include shocking claims about the royal family. Even though there are issues between The Firm and the Sussexes, Prince Harry will unlikely forget the fact that he’s related to the royal family.

So, to expose the dirt on them means that he would also expose the dirt on himself. And this is something that he wouldn’t want to do.
