Sarah Ferguson was allegedly photographed checking a massive property in Mayfair. And despite previous reports that she’s struggling financially, an insider claimed that the mom of two snagged the property shortly after she inspected it.

A source told Woman’s Day that the Mayfair property must have cost millions for Ferguson. But royal fans couldn’t help but wonder where she got her money from.

“Friends are puzzled over how the royal divorcee – who currently lives in the Royal Lodge at Windsor with her disgraced ex-husband Prince Andrew – managed to cough up the cash for a pricey piece of real estate in one of the city’s most exclusive enclaves, despite admitting she is continually on the verge of bankruptcy and has little understanding of money,” the tabloid claimed.

Fergie’s alleged big spending comes on the heels of rumors that her daughter, Princess Eugenie wants to move to Adelaide Cottage. However, Queen Elizabeth didn’t grant her wish and instead decided to give the property to Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“Prince William is moving out there, in a sign he’ll soon be in charge of things. Andrew has been stood down as a working royal and William feels he no longer deserves the perk of living in the prime royal property,” the source said.

Additionally, the Duke of Cambridge also has very little time for the Duchess of York. After all, he is aware that his late mother, Princess Diana had a falling out with Fergie years before she passed away.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Ferguson bought a property in Mayfair. And even if she has the money, it wouldn’t be a good look for her and Prince Andrew if she will do something like this.

After all, Prince Andrew was forced to lean on the queen and Prince Charles for financial support so that he could settle with his sexual abuse accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

Even though the Duke and Duchess of York are no longer legally married to each other, they still live in the same house so there are expectations that they would help each other out.

So, it wouldn’t have been a good look on the mom of two if she bought a property instead of helping Prince Andrew financially.
