Sarah Ferguson allegedly upset her ex-husband, Prince Andrew following a recent outing.

In its May 23 issue, New Idea claimed that Ferguson flirted with Prince Albert while they were at an environmental award show in Gothenburg earlier this month.

Photos of the two show them chatting and hugging each other.

A source claimed that Prince Albert couldn’t have been more thrilled that Ferguson presented his award.

“Fergie’s always been good fun and Albert lights up when she’s around,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that the Duchess of York is such a calming presence in Prince Albert’s life. After all, he and his wife were recently involved in a controversy.

“Fergie’s sense of humor is the perfect antidote to stuffy palace life. She’s a firebrand and he loves that about her,” the source said.

However, there’s no proof that there’s something flirtatious going on between Ferguson and Prince Albert. And it’s not also true that their special bond upset Prince Andrew.

After all, there’s no reason for the Duke of York to be upset because he and Ferguson have been divorced for over two decades.

As of writing, the Duke and Duchess of York are nothing more than friends and confidantes. In fact, the exes have been supporting each other throughout the past couple of years.

Ferguson stood by Prince Andrew’s side while he was trying to clear his name following Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s sexual abuse allegations.

The mom of two also sat down for interviews on multiple occasions to show her support for her ex-husband.

On one occasion, Ferguson described Prince Andrew as a wonderful man and father to their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

“Prince Andrew is just such a good man, he’s a really thoroughly good man. He’s a very gentleman, he’s a really good father, and we did co-parent very well, hence the reason our girls are very solid and have their feet on the ground,” Ferguson said (via Daily Mail).

In related news, Ferguson also made headlines recently amid claims that she’s flirting with Colin Firth.

Multiple tabloids accused the former royal of making the first move after she asked Firth to star in an upcoming movie that was inspired by one of the books that she authored.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Ferguson and Firth never flirted with each other.
