Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg’s marriage is allegedly on the rocks again that’s why the former accepted a new job in Australia.

A source told Globe that the couple has been living separate lives for quite some time now. And the distance between them grew wider after Kennedy accepted an ambassadorship in Australia.

“They’ve been living separate lives for years so I’m not at all surprised that she would accept this position. He accompanied her to Australia for her arrival but he certainly isn’t going to leave his business and friends and move halfway around the world just because she wants to play the big shot,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that even though Kennedy and Schlossberg are 10,000 miles away from each other, they still reunite every now and then due for some official reasons.

Years ago, a similar thing happened between the couple. According to reports, Kennedy and Schlossberg separated from 2013 to 2017 while the former was in Japan. And the latter visited his wife there to try and patch things up but his efforts did not materialize.

The couple later agreed to talk things through but Kennedy has allegedly been telling friends that they could be headed for a $275 million divorce.

“She’s got an ego the size of Chicago, which she got from her mother, Jackie. He was always willing to walk two steps behind her in public, but it just became too painful for him. He’ll make a few trips to Australia and that will be that,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Kennedy and Schlossberg’s marriage is falling apart.

And it’s not also true that Kennedy accepted a job in Australia so that she could spend some time away from her husband.

If the couple wanted to divorce, they should’ve already divorced a long time ago. But the fact that they still together mean that they want to stay married to each other.

It’s not also true that Kennedy and Schlossberg reached rough patches in their marriage a couple of times in the past. It’s unclear why the tabloid concocted this storyline but the only sensible reason is for clickbait purposes.
