Lady Gaga, recently, revealed to an outlet about why she was unwilling to be pally with Ariana Grande but is close to the latter now.

 

The Grammy-award winning musician recently released her second song Rain On Me, which is included in her yet-to-be-released album Chromatica. Gaga has teamed up with Grande for this track. It is the pop singer’s sixth studio album after she tasted success with her previous album Joanne, which was released in 2016. 

 

The songstress has recently opened up to an outlet about her reluctance to befriend Grande. She added that Grande was adamant and kept trying to be her friend. However, Gaga was not quite keen to be close to her in the beginning because she did not want to promote negativity onto something, which was beautiful and “was healing.”

 

The 34-year-old singer though stated that things have improved between the two of them over the years. It has been also reported that Gaga referred to the bad patches in the life of the 26-year-old singer.

 

She was possibly suggesting the tragic death of Mac Miller, Grande’s former boyfriend in 2018, and the Manchester Arena Bombing incident that took place in 2017. The actress of A Star is Born also shared the incident when she was in the washroom. Ariana Grande appeared in front of her all of a sudden and asked her whether she was hiding from her.

 

Lady Gaga remembers how she agreed that she was indeed hiding to avoid her. It is how the friendship between these two singers started. According to reports, Gaga also shared that working with Grande has been an extremely healing process for her. 

 

Gaga’s upcoming album Chromatica will not only feature Grande abut other talented musicians such as Elton John and Blackpink. After dropping her second song from the album, the songstress took to Twitter and posted a touching message while sharing the news of her song release. 

 

Also, she thanked Ariana Grande for making her believing in herself and convincing her about her strength. Gaga further mentioned how incredibly emotional she was while sharing this. The songstress said she loves the younger singer treasures her for everything, Republic World reports. 

 

In other related news, Gaga is said to have mentioned that her upcoming studio album has been inspired by her failed relationships in the past. The Grammy-winning musician shared this information while speaking to Zane Lowe in a recent interview. 

 

She mentioned that her past agony compelled her to return to the recording studio. Lady Gaga also narrated some of the lyrics of her song Free Woman during this interview. It is one of the songs, which will also feature on her new album, WION reports.
