Lynne Spears, the mother of Britney Spears, reacted to her daughter’s wedding to Sam Asghari. She gave her a warm comment on social media after seeing photos of the special day.

Geo News reported that the songstress’s mother commented on one of her recently posted photos from the wedding. She said, “You look radiant and so happy” before adding, “your wedding is the ‘dream’ wedding.”

Lynne also went on to note that having the ceremony at Britney’s home “makes it so sentimental and special.” In the end, she stated that she is “so happy” for her daughter, adding that she loves her.

Britney Spears did not extend the invitations to her parents, Lynne and Jamie. Siblings Jamie Lynn and Bryan were also not in attendance during her wedding to Sam Asghari last week.

It remains unclear why the “Stronger” singer decided not to invite members of her own family. But, it all comes after the “heightened tension amid the aftermath of her controversial 13-year conservatorship,” according to Us Weekly.

Aside from her parents' and siblings’ absences, Spears’ two children from her previous marriage did not also make it to the special day. Ex Kevin Federline’s attorney, nevertheless, reportedly told TMZ that he and their kids were “happy for Britney and wish her and Sam all the best going forward.”

Despite this, though, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s wedding welcomed several high-profile personalities from various industries. Reports said that they invited around 100 guests, including the likes of Selena Gomez, Madonna, and Paris Hilton.

Donatella Versace was also in attendance during the ceremony. She designed the “If U Seek Amy” artist’s custom gown for the day.

An insider, later on, told Us Weekly that there were performances during the newly wedded pair’s nuptials. These included the couple dancing to Spears’ “Toxic” track, alongside Madonna, as well as a duet between the two artists to Hilton’s hit single, “Stars Are Blind.”

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s wedding seemingly came as a surprise to the public. It only made headlines hours before they exchanged vows in front of their witnesses.

Speaking to Vogue, though, the 40-year-old singer shared that she and her now-husband wanted “to make [it] a small and beautiful moment with family and friends.” When it comes to the aesthetics and designs of the venue, she stated they aimed for “warm and feminine colors including blush, white, cream, and gold, and a lot of various shades of pinks, blush, and reds.”

Spears and Asghari officially tied the knot on June 9, 2022.
