Ellen DeGeneres will allegedly be seen on television again in the coming months.

An unnamed source alleged that DeGeneres wants to return to daytime programming because she wants to get her revenge on Kelly Clarkson.

Clarkson currently hosts The Kelly Clarkson Show. And after The Ellen Show was canceled, Clarkson took over DeGeneres’ timeslot.

The source insisted that DeGeneres is already thinking of the best way she could return to television. And the comedian has also been reaching out to some of her connections who she believes can help her out.

“Ellen is still schmoozing and boozing some very powerful people and telling them Kelly is out of her depth and she’s willing to bet on her falling flat on her face. Ellen’s taking a breather. But once she’s back in L.A., it will be all guns blazing to recharge her career,” the source told National Enquirer.

DeGeneres announced her decision to quit The Ellen Show months ago. She said that she felt it in her heart that it was time to bid the program goodbye. However, sources are convinced that the funny woman decided to quit because of the bullying and mean girl allegations thrown at her years ago.

But if it were really up to her, DeGeneres would’ve wanted to keep hosting The Ellen Show for as long as possible. Unfortunately, she had to change her plans and now she’s eyeing her revenge on Clarkson.

“She’s convinced if Kelly flops, TV bosses will come crawling back to her and nothing would give her more satisfaction. But Ellen needs to cut her losses and give Kelly a break. She’s picking on the wrong person,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. There’s no proof that DeGeneres wants to get her revenge on Clarkson because there’s no reason for her to.

Clarkson wasn’t the one who decided on changing her show’s timeslot. Instead, it was the producers of her show that wanted her to takeover DeGeneres’ schedule.

This isn’t the first time that DeGeneres and Clarkson were pitted against each other. But the two A-listers proved that there’s no bad blood between them when DeGeneres made a surprise visit to the set of The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2019.

The move surprised fans of the two programs and it also silenced the allegations that the tabloids are spreading.
