Kelly Clarkson Struggling Financially After Quitting ‘The Voice’
Kelly Clarkson is allegedly struggling financially following her surprise decision to quit The Voice.
In its June 13 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Clarkson is trying her best to keep her Montana ranch afloat. But it’s unlikely for her to be able to cover the expenses after she quit The Voice.
“She’s up to her ears in costly repairs that need to be done. She’s trying to run things from LA – talking to contractors and ranch hands – and it’s giving her one great headache. She’s spending more than 80,000 a month to maintain the property. She wants to do the right thing and keep on the ranch staff and not lay off people. But it’s hurting her bank account especially now that she won’t have her cushy $14 million-a-season salary from The Voice to lean on,” the source said.
The source also said that Clarkson tried to make light of the situation after she joked about a sinkhole in her Montana ranch. But the problem is real and it’s causing the American Idol winner so much stress.
“She really loves the place, and the kids do too. She fought Brandon so hard to keep it and can’t let it go now,” the source said.
As of late, Clarkson has not said anything about her Montana ranch being in need of renovation. And her comment about the property having a sinkhole could’ve just been a joke.
It seems that the tabloid just exaggerated their claims to make it seem as though Clarkson has to put so much work on the property.
And it’s not also true that the award-winning singer is struggling financially. Clarkson seems to be set for life because she has a successful singing career and she’s also hosting her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Meanwhile, Clarkson was also rumored to be feuding with Gwen Stefani.
Last week, multiple tabloids claimed that Clarkson was upset when she found out that Stefani will be replacing her on The Voice. After all, Clarkson thinks that she would always be compared to Stefani.
However, these claims aren’t true either. Stefani and Clarkson are friends. In fact, they treat each other like a family because they both worked on The Voice at the same time. And Clarkson also has a close relationship with Stefani’s husband, Blake Shelton.
