Prince Harry has yet to settle with his new life outside the British Monarchy. He is “not yet comfortable” with the culture in Hollywood, in the United States, where he currently lives, alongside Meghan Markle.

The assertions came from an expert and a professor of marketing and consumer research at Royal Holloway, according to Express UK.

Speaking to the publication, Pauline Maclaran stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had “very different brand images.” This is why they have “sparked tensions” at times, throughout their royal life and beyond it.

She explained that, with the differences in their respective brands, the difficulties when it comes to adjusting to each other’s lifestyles have become evident before the public.

Maclaran recalled how tensions became apparent when Meghan Markle tried to be a working royal in the United Kingdom. She, also, looked back at the couple’s appearance at the NAACP Image Awards, where royal watchers thought Prince Harry “appeared wooden onstage” beside his wife.

The expert consequently pointed out that these key moments “reflected” the differences between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s brands. While the latter’s was said to be oriented around her status as a minor Hollywood actress, the former’s was “embedded in the ‘Royal Family brand.’”

But, as to whether Prince Harry has yet to become comfortable with his new life in the United States, that remains to be confirmed. Aside from the references Maclaran had made, no other pieces of evidence have surfaced to fully corroborate the claims.

So, unless he and Meghan Markle spoke of it before the public, the assertions will remain mere speculative.

Despite the reported discomfort, though, royal biographer Nigel Cawthorne believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are a “team.” He told OK! magazine that the former working royals appear to be “going against the entire world” as a duo, according to The International News.

The author stated that couples going through shared problems tend to become “stronger.” Expert Katie Nicholl, then, added that “they are in it together,” noting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already been on “an extraordinary journey, making huge decisions” together in only four years.

In the end, she asserted that the two former working royals are a “strong unit” because they got each other’s backs.

Meanwhile, the public will not witness the Sussex couple in the United Kingdom later this month. Their camp has already confirmed that the royal-born Prince will not be attending the upcoming memorial service for the late Prince Philip.
