Jennifer Aniston is not rekindling her romance with John Mayer. She is not giving a second try to that relationship, or any of her past romantic ties with others.

Gossip Cop recently revealed the truth about the latest allegations involving the "Friends" alum. It clarified that none of the stories about her revisiting her relationship with Mayer are true.

The publication noted that Aniston and her artist ex do not seem to hold "any ill will" toward one another. But, this does not mean that they are giving their relationship another try as it is clear: "the ship has sailed on their romance."

The reputed outlet continued that the two celebrities have not even seen each other in the last few months or even years. As pointed out, the "Back To You" singer is currently occupied with his tour across the United States, while the "Wanderlust" actress is focused on her stint for "Murder Mystery 2" in Hawaii.

The clarifications come after Woman's Day recently released a report, alleging Jennifer Aniston is reconnecting with John Mayer. As claimed, the former couple even started to go out to dinner again as they intended to revisit their "hot chemistry."

Supposed sources, also, told the tabloid that things would be different this time around with their romance. The artist reportedly found a "new appreciation" for his ex, adding that he had his sights back on the Hollywood actress.

But, as disputed, none of the claims are true.

This is not the first time, though, that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer faced reconciliation rumors. In August of 2021, theories and speculations surfaced across media platforms after the "Why Georgia" singer posted a video of himself on TikTok.

Cheat Sheet said that Mayer was with his dog on the clip, and this led the "shippers" to theorize that it was actually Aniston's dog. Accordingly, it caused many individuals to conclude that they were together again.

Months later, however, the "Horrible Bosses" actress seemingly set the record straight during an interview. She appeared to have dismissed the rumors subtly, confirming that she was not seeing the singer again.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer dated briefly between 2008 and 2009. They first met at an Oscars party and became one of the “A-list couples of the noughties,” according to Marie Claire.

Following their break-up, the singer seemingly made "controversial comments" about his former partner, suggesting that she "was too old for him." Although he stated that he would always be "sorry" about it not lasting long, he asserted that he could not change the fact that he would “need to be 32,” which was his age at the time, eight years younger than Aniston.
