Prince William and Kate Middleton kept their relationship far from the spotlight at the start. While they succeeded for about a year, photos showing the latter with the British Royals on a family skiing holiday emerged, and it all infuriated the royal-born Prince.

The Duke of Cambridge was reportedly "furious" about the images appearing in British newspapers, according to Express UK. As added, he was, also, "genuinely worried" for his then-girlfriend, as well as her family.

The publication recalled that the claims came from royal experts and commentators, which spoke of the matter on a Channel 5 documentary titled, "William & Kate: Too Good To Be True."

In the same material, royal editor Rebecca England stated that there were even rumors about Kate Middleton's mom, setting her daughter up with Prince William. She explained that several speculations surfaced, alleging Carole Middleton "might have tried to orchestrate the relationship" by sending her child to St. Andrews.

In addition, there were even allegations about the young Duchess of Cambridge having a poster of the royal-born Prince on her wall at Marlborough College. But, reports said that the pair seemingly dismissed the groundless assertions during their engagement interview in 2010.

As recalled, the future Queen Consort revealed that it was not a picture of the eldest Wales prince, but instead, it was the "Levi's guy" on her bedroom wall.

Meanwhile, this is not the only time that Prince William became reportedly angry due to the publication of Kate Middleton's photos on media outlets. In 2012, topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge went public, and her husband "hit the roof," according to Cheat Sheet.

The outlet recalled that the photos were taken by a paparazzo during the royal couple's private trip to the south of France for a vacation. The images were later sold to the French tabloid newspaper, Closer.

The Cambridge Royals consequently released an official statement, expressing their "sadness" about the invasion of their privacy in "a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner." Amid the controversy, the family asked a French court to stop further publication of the photos, as per CNN.

A palace spokesperson, later on, said that Kate Middleton and Prince William filed a "criminal complaint" and sought invasion of privacy charges against the publication, and likely the individual who took the photos. Moreover, the royals' legal camp asked for damages and a court order to prevent further publication of the pictures, as well.
