Fans are wondering whether Willow Smith is in a feud with Billie Eilish. This comes after she dropped out of the latter’s tour at the last minute earlier in February.

Cheat Sheet recalled that the “Wait a Minute!” singer was set to open for the “Bad Guy” artist at 11 shows of her tour. Hours before the start of the North American leg, Will Smith’s daughter made an announcement on Twitter.

Smith said she was “unable to put on the show” that she believes her audience deserves. She cited “production limitations” as the reason behind her decision, although she did not dwell on the details.

After making the announcement, Willow Smith was said to have unfollowed Billie Eilish on Instagram. A fan account with the handle, “billies fbi,” shared some screenshots showing Smith following the “Happier Than Ever” artist before cancelling her opening act for the tour.

This reportedly led many netizens, especially fans of the artists, to speculate whether there was some “personal drama” between the two. While some were thinking that something happened before the start of the tour, others were theorizing that the disputes probably began after Smith dropped out at the last minute.

Whatever the case, though, both celebrities have maintained their silence about the matter. Therefore, no one knows if there is (or was) bad blood between Smith and Eilish.

Meanwhile, Willow Smith received a mixed reaction from the public following her move. Most of her avid followers expressed their surprise and sadness on Twitter, according to MEA World Wide.

Others, however, were more disappointed, with some individuals calling her out on the same platform. As reported, these netizens criticized her for cancelling her act and deemed the decision “unprofessional.”

There were, also, a few Twitter users who urged her to explain what she meant about “production limitations.” But, Smith remained tight-lipped and did not address the concerns.

A few weeks later, Willow Smith reportedly received another wave of backlash on social media. Arab News said it came after she released a preview of her first novel, which she wrote alongside Jess Hendel.

The publication explained that the cause of criticism was her portrayal of Muslims and Amazighs in the material. One netizen called it “unacceptable” after reading the preview of the book.

“Black Shield Maiden,” which will drop on October 4, follows the story of a young African warrior. She was said to be “stolen from her home and brought to the world of the Vikings, where she meets a princess.”
