Joey King deemed herself the “luckiest lady alive” when her boyfriend Steven Piet proposed to her. She shared the news on Instagram a month after they got engaged.

Us Weekly said that the announcement emerged on Tuesday via the celebrity couple’s respective social media accounts. They shared a series of photos, showing the actual moment when the producer popped the question.

King said that it was not until Piet that she learned “happiness could be so powerful” and that a “person’s presence and heart could feel like a real home.” She, also, said that she “never knew love could be so unquestionably beautiful” until he arrived in her life.

The outlet continued that Joey King seemingly made it known when Steven Piet proposed to her. In the same post, she noted that “the date was 2/2/22” when he asked her to marry him.

The “In Between” actress ended her post with “I love you more than an Instagram caption could ever do justice.” She added that it “sounds like a real dream” to hang out with him forever, “so let’s do it.”

Piet made a separate post on his Instagram account. He shared that the “weather was less than perfect,” but it was “perfectly imperfect to ask [his] best friend to spend a lifetime together.”

In the end, the producer wrote that the actress has “unlocked a dimension of love” in him he never knew existed.

No further information has been reported about Joey King and Steven Piet’s plans for their wedding. It is likely, though, that the details will emerge in the next couple of months.

A separate report from Us Weekly shone a light, however, on the engagement ring the 30-year-old producer has given the 22-year-old actress. As uncovered, the band is not only massive but, “it is, also, extremely unique.”

Brooklyn-based jewelry company, Mociun, is said to have designed the sparkler. The Clear Cut CEO Olivia Landau told the publication that the ring features an “elongated oval diamond set east west on a gold band.”

It has a “single epaulette and baguette stones on one side,” as well. As for the price, she estimated that similar designs would retail for about $20,000 to $30,000.

Steven Piet and Joey King had their first encounter on the set of “The Act.” Seventeen reported that the former was a co-executive producer on the material and directed two episodes titled, “Free” and “Plan B.”

The two personalities started their romance in 2019, about a year after King and Jacob Elordi called it quits.
