Kelly Clarkson allegedly realized recently that marrying her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock is the biggest mistake of her life.

In its March 7 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Clarkson has been struggling for years. And if she didn’t wed Blackstock, her life would’ve been completely different. However, this would also mean that she wouldn’t have her two children, River Rose and Remington.

“It’s been the worst couple of years of Kelly’s life, and she’s just overwhelmed. She can’t take much more stress. Plus, she’s turning 40 in a couple of months. She’s in a really dark place. If she could turn back time, she wouldn’t have married him in the first place. That was the biggest mistake of her life,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Clarkson wants to avoid Blackstock as much as possible. But she knows that they would cross paths one way or another because they have two children.

“But she knows she’ll be stuck dealing with Brandon at least until the kids are adults and probably even after that, so it’s incredibly disheartening,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Clarkson is starting to crave companionship again. But the American Idol winner cannot also focus on finding a relationship because she’s still recovering from her divorce.

“She’s beyond disappointed with the dating scene and she’s always worried someone will be after her money. She’d rather date a ‘normal guy’ than a celebrity, but the pandemic has stopped her from going out and finding one,” the source said.

Regardless of whether she falls in love again or not, the source said that Clarkson has no plans to get married again. After all, she’s still traumatized because of everything that she experienced with her ex-husband

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

It’s obvious that the tabloid just made up this story about Clarkson because she recently tested positive for COVID-19 and was recovering from the deadly virus.

As such, the singer said during a video call that she’s having a hard time with her life at the moment.

But this doesn’t mean that her struggles still involve Blackstock.

After all, it’s been over a year since the exes announced their split.

There’s also no indication that Clarkson has been trying to find love or that she’s struggling to date a man.
