Prince William is turning 40 years old in June, and plans are already underway. He will reportedly celebrate the birthday milestone in an "intimate" way, alongside family members and close friends.

An insider made the claim to Us Weekly for its February 28 issue. As alleged, Queen Elizabeth II is arranging the event at either Windsor Castle or Buckingham Palace.

There is very little information about the reported celebration. But, it is said that the Duke of Cambridge is "feeling reflective" as his special day fastly approaches.

The royal-born Prince is, also, allegedly "feeling optimistic" about the new chapter of his life. He is looking forward to what is in store for him, adding that he is "excited" to face what lies ahead of him.

The same informant continued that Prince William already has a "goal for the next decade." He aims to be "as prepared as possible," especially for his role as the future King of the United Kingdom.

The Duke of Cambridge, also, reportedly desires to become the "people's prince," much like his late mother, Princess Diana, who remains the "people's princess." He is claimed to have "high ambitions of creating the perfect balance" between being "relatable to the public" and a "decision-maker," who is a role model the public will respect.

While all the remarks are positive and full of hope, there are no confirmations whether the claims are true. No one can verify the matter as the royal-born Prince, himself, as well as the royal officials, has yet to make any comment about his upcoming birthday.

Moreover, the magazine’s sources did not provide any proof to substantiate the story. So, this makes the whole narrative speculative at best unless otherwise clarified or stated.

Meanwhile, a royal expert had similar assertions about Prince William's upcoming 40th birthday. Christopher Andersen shared that there is a "big" plan for the celebration, adding that Queen Elizabeth II is spearheading it, according to Cosmopolitan.

He noted, however, that this would only happen if COVID-19 allows it. Otherwise, "there will be big parties again."

In 2021, the British Royal Family marked Prince William's 39th birthday by sharing "warm wishes" on their respective social media accounts. The senior royals who made the greetings, also, accompanied their notes with "sweet, candid" photos of the royal-born Prince, according to People.

It remains unclear, though, how the family, especially the Cambridge household, celebrated the special day of the future King. Even so, many assumed that he spent the day with his wife and children, and without a grand event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
