Queen Elizabeth, Camilla Parker Bowles, and Kate Middleton allegedly have a pact to ensure that the British monarchy will be led by women.

In its Feb. 21 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that the queen encouraged Camilla and Middleton to get closer to each other so that they can join forces in their future endeavors.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the queen wants Camilla to be styled as queen consort once Prince Charles ascends the throne.

This move came as a surprise to royal fans and experts that thought Camilla will be styled as a princess consort.

“Kate and Camilla have always got on, but they’ve become firm friends since the queen sat down with them. We’ll see them united on a lot of issues, which was the queen’s wish,” the source said.

The queen’s recent support for Camilla is reportedly a far cry from the two senior royals’ relationship from many years ago.

In 2005, the monarch even refused to attend Prince Charles and Camilla’s civil wedding amid fears that royal fans would criticize her. After all, Prince Charles and Camilla had an affair while the former was still married to Princess Diana.

“Camilla knew back then that she was facing a gargantuan task winning over her mother-in-law, but she played an incredibly long game. She worked hard, never complained, and showed her loyalty to Charles and his family. In the queen’s mind, she deserves this honor,” the source said.

The insider allegedly reminded Camilla and Middleton that their future role as queen consort won’t come easy. After all, they would have to deal with the royal family scandals just like what the queen has been doing for years.

“At their summit, no one tiptoed around the serious issues, especially when it came to Prince Harry or the Prince Andrew disaster. The Andrew situation is in hand, but they agreed this feud between the princes has to stop. They privately feel Meghan is their biggest obstacle to achieving family unity. The queen made them promise they would always welcome Harry back with open arms,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

When the time comes that Prince Charles and Prince William ascend the throne, they will be the ones in charge of dealing with the royal family scandals and not their wives.
