Camilla Parker Bowles and Kate Middleton are allegedly thrilled that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s patronages have already been removed.

In its Feb. 7 issue, New Idea claimed that Camilla will now take over Markle’s patronage, the National Theater. Middleton, on the other hand, will now be in charge of Prince Harry’s former patronage, England’s Rugby Football Union, and Rugby Football League.

A source claimed that Camilla was upset when Queen Elizabeth decided to give the National Theater to Markle when she was still a senior working royal. After all, the Duchess of Sussex only attended one meeting with the patronage.

“Camilla will be all the more delighted to take it on now, after being disappointed not to get it the first time around,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Middleton is setting herself up as Prince William’s rival when it comes to the world of Rugby in England.

“In the queen handing out these coveted patronages to Kate and Camilla, she is showing the world that she’s rewarding those who work hard and prove that the family has moved on from the Sussex chaos of the past couple of years. The time has come to put some steady hands on the wheel to restore the royal brand,” the source said.

Over the weekend, the queen released a statement to commemorate her 70th year on the throne. To everyone’s surprise, the monarch expressed her desire for Camilla to be called queen consort when Prince Charles is crowned as king.

Years ago, Clarence House said that Camilla will be called princess consort when Prince Charles ascends the throne. But over the years, the Duchess of Cornwall was able to prove herself worthy of the queen consort title.

The queen’s recent show of support for Camilla is more than enough proof to say that the monarch trusts and believes in her daughter-in-law.

But even if this is the case, there’s no indication that Camilla is secretly thrilled that Markle lost her patronage to her favor. After all, Camilla never said this after the announcement.

As for Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge didn’t also say that she’s happy that Prince Harry has been stripped of his patronages.

It is also important to note that Middleton and Prince Harry are very close so it’s unlikely for them to want to be in competition with each other.
